Mattapan is a residential Boston neighborhood centered on Mattapan Square and Blue Hill Avenue, with the Mattapan trolley line running toward Ashmont. Dris delivers across the neighborhood, from the blocks around the square to the quieter streets of Wellington Hill.
Many Mattapan homes are single- and two-family houses, so the handoff happens at the front door; have your ID ready when the driver arrives.
Mattapan lies along the Neponset River at the southern end of Boston, and Dris delivers to homes across the neighborhood. Orders arrive around Mattapan Square, Wellington Hill, Almont, Franklin Field and the blocks that run along Blue Hill Avenue, Morton Street and Cummins Highway. The Mattapan trolley line links the square with Ashmont. Dorchester, Milton, Hyde Park and Roslindale all touch the neighborhood boundaries. Many houses here are two- or three-family buildings, so please include your unit number at checkout. Dris delivers same-day to residences in Mattapan, and we ask that an adult be home to receive the order. Your driver will require a valid government-issued photo ID, and the recipient has to be 21 or older. Mattapan's quiet side streets off the main avenues are easy to reach, and a full street number helps the driver find your address.
Dris covers these parts of Mattapan:
Nearby towns on the Dris delivery list: Dorchester, Hyde Park, Milton, Roslindale, and Roxbury. Dorchester adjoins Mattapan to the north and east, Hyde Park and Roslindale are to the west, and Milton is across the Neponset River.
Dris delivers Monday to Saturday from 12pm to 11pm and Sunday from 12pm to 10pm. At checkout you pick a delivery window; each window stops taking orders one hour before it starts, and if one is full or closed you choose the next. Mattapan is in the same delivery zone as every other Dris town, so the delivery fee (free on orders of $100 or more after discounts and points, before tax) and the $50 minimum are the same here as anywhere else on the list. ASAP delivery appears at checkout only where it is turned on for your address. See the full delivery rules or the list of every town we deliver to.
Which parts of Mattapan does Dris deliver to?
Dris delivers across Mattapan, including Mattapan Square, Wellington Hill, and Cummins Highway. Enter your address at checkout to confirm it is inside the delivery zone.
Does Dris deliver along Blue Hill Avenue?
Yes, for residential addresses along the corridor and the streets off it. Your address is confirmed at checkout.
What do I need to have ready when the driver arrives in Mattapan?
The person who placed the order must be at the door, 21 or older, with a valid government-issued photo ID that matches the name on the order. Without it, the order goes back with the driver.
Is ASAP delivery available in Mattapan?
Where ASAP delivery is turned on for your address, you can choose it at checkout and the target is about 90 minutes. It is offered only during store hours and only when it shows at checkout. Otherwise, pick a delivery window.
